PERFORMING ARTS TECHNICIAN

15 hours per week

Term time, plus 5 staff training days

We are looking for an exceptional part-time technician to join our Performing Arts Department.

This is a key appointment for us as this role supports our whole school productions, concerts and technical work within our thriving Drama and Music departments.

The department is housed within it's own purpose built modern building where we have 2 studios with lighting rigs.  There is also an equipped recording studio with iMac facility etc.

This post will attract someone with a strong AV background, an interest in recording and use of IT and other technology to support students and the school in latest moves towards remote concerts, learning and performance.

We are an outstanding school with high achieving and active students with a broad curriculum.  Both music and drama are actively encouraged and we are always seeking to extend opportunities and activities to all students.  We have recently completed new Dance and fitness facilities and are excited about the developing opportunities that are now possible.

Duty hours are spread over the working week  and will offer some flexibility to accommodate peak events such as exam practicals, productions and concerts.

Actual salary for hours and weeks worked is from £6,573.   The FTE salary is from £18,933
