Actual Salary: £12,058 to £12,763 per annum including fringe

 25 hours per week term-time plus 5 INSET days

Rickmansworth School is an 11-18 heavily oversubscribed co-educational partially (35%) selective academy with nearly 1400 students on roll, increasing to around 1575 students over the next five years. Academic results are strong at KS4 and KS5 with the vast majority of students securing their first choice university destinations.

The School is in a very strong, stable financial position with over £4M recently spent on school expansion including a new Sixth-form centre, performing arts theatre and an Innovation & Design Centre. The School is also supported extremely well by a fantastic PTA and Foundation. Our outstanding staff well-being programme includes access to our fitness suite and swimming pool, flu vaccinations and complimentary eye tests. The School’s admissions criteria gives preference to staff members’ children.

The successful candidate will:

be required to support our Dance, Drama, Music and Film courses

Induct students into the safe use of the technical areas, associated equipment and machines, including the Music Suite, Dance Studio, Ricky Playhouse and School Hall.

Assist production teams at School productions and performance events

Assist with design and operation during academic assessments, including lighting sound, projection (to include mixing desk & lighting desk operation)

Undertake filming, editing and archiving student assessments for moderation

Run workshops for students in relation to technical examinations

Complete minor repair work

Provide administrative support as appropriate (audit, maintenance, administrative support, etc.)
