Reddam House is a co-educational, independent school that aspires to excellence in education for girls and boys from three months to 18 years old. The unique Reddam House philosophy and our formula for success are based to a large degree on the quality and depth of our curricular, cultural and sporting activities and especially our teaching staff, fully recognising that what goes on in the classroom between teacher and student strongly influences the success of the school.
An enthusiastic English as an alternative language teacher is required to join the Academic Support team at Reddam House Berkshire in September, working one-to-one with our students who require individual attention to boost their knowledge and use of English.
Hours and days of work are flexible for the right applicant, but we anticipate that the minimum requirement will be 1.5 days per week, with the opportunity to spread these hours over several days, in this friendly team. This position would be of peripatetic nature, with payment per lesson taught.
We warmly welcome and encourage visits to Reddam House Berkshire. Should you wish to take up this opportunity, please do not hesitate to contact the PA, Jenny Veater.
To apply, please complete an application form in full. It is not sufficient to substitute a CV for all or any part of the form. Completed applications should be returned to the PA to the Principal via email firstname.lastname@example.org
Closing date: Monday 16 July 2018.
The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment. Safer recruitment practice and pre-employment background checks will be undertaken before any appointment is confirmed. Appointment is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for regulated activity.
