Queen’s Gate is a thriving GSA day school for girls aged 4 –18 and is ideally situated in Central London to take advantage of the many educational opportunities on offer. The Junior School occupies its own buildings in Queen’s Gate within close proximity of the Senior School with which it enjoys close links, including the use of specialist staff and facilities. Music plays a central part in the life of the School, with many opportunities for individual lessons and performance. 

We wish to appoint from  1st January 2022 a suitably qualified Peripatetic Flute Teacher. Passion for Music, flexibility, and experience of teaching instrumental lessons successfully to pupils of varying ability in both Junior and Senior Schools are all essential attributes.

The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.

About Queen's Gate School

Queen's Gate School is an all-through independent day school for girls aged 4-18, housed in five Victorian buildings in South Kensington, London. There are around 500 pupils on roll, with a wide range of ethnic and cultural backgrounds, reflecting the diversity of the city.

Queen's Gate School was founded in 1891 by Miss Eleanor Beatrice Wyatt in her parents' home. The present site was acquired in 2005. The school is an educational trust overseen by a board of governors.
