ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

 

In general, hourly music teaching staff will be responsible for the following:

 

·        Teach students in individual lessons;

·        Teach students of all ranges and abilities;

·        Practitioner with exceptional drive and energy;

·        High expectations of him or herself and his/her students and is committed to ensuring every student has a positive learning experience;

·        Adhere to departmental assessment policies and practices;

·        Act as a role model for the students and as an ambassador for the school both in the way he/she behaves and observes the school’s dress code;

·        Be a team player, relating well to colleagues and parents;

·        Is internationally minded and supportive of our multilingual setting.

The duties outlined above are not intended as a restrictive list and may be extended or altered to include other tasks that are commensurate with the role as directed Senior Management.

Skills and previous experience

A minimum of 3 year’s experience with students in a secondary school and post 16

Qualifications and Accreditations

·        University degree in Piano

·        Certified Teaching Status

Appropriate right to work in Switzerland
