Peripatetic Woodwind Specialist Teacher

Flute, Clarinet and Saxophone

We are currently seeking a specialist woodwind teacher capable of delivering high-quality individual lessons in flute, clarinet and saxophone to pupils across the age-range and abilities at Radnor House.

The successful applicant will join a committed team of ten full and part time musicians dedicated to supporting our young musicians from the ages of 6-18 and will be qualified to teach from beginner to advanced level on all three instruments.

The role also includes teaching flute and clarinet in small groups to students in Year 7 as part of their music curriculum.  There are additional opportunities to run ensembles and other music activities throughout the school for an enthusiastic practitioner.  Applications with keyboard skills will be particularly welcome.

The successful applicant would work on a self-employed basis earning £20 per half hour for private lessons and £25 per half hour for group lessons.  We currently expect to be offering approximately 2 days per week of teaching over 30 academic weeks each year, though this may fluctuate.
