The Lakes School is seeking to employ an outstanding teacher of Computing with Maths from 1st January 2021. This permanent full time post will be for approximately 0.8fte teaching of Computing and 0.2fte contribution to KS3 and KS4 in the Maths department. We would welcome applications from outstanding candidates who are interested in making a long-term commitment to the school.
We are a high achieving, fully comprehensive school; a dynamic and innovative centre at the heart of the Lake District where all pupils have the opportunity to achieve within a caring learning community.
We are seeking an outstanding classroom practitioner to teach computing with the commitment and energy to inspire our students. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the ability and age range, including A Level in Computing and will join experienced colleagues within the school. Student outcomes in Computing and Maths have remained strong with results consistently reaching above the national average.
The post would be suitable for either an NQT or more experienced teacher.
