There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation. You are an enthusiastic teacher who is committed to excellence. You have a good knowledge of current planning and assessment procedures and of the national and local curriculum policies.
Your base will be Mintlaw Primary School. You will be required to travel within a 25 Mile Radius of this base school and your home address.
In addition to the requirements on the attached job profile, you will be required to provide a vehicle for the purpose of carrying out your official duties and will be entitled to claim Aberdeenshire Council Mileage Rates. You will be required to hold a current driving licence to enable you to carry out the full duties of the post. The withdrawal of the licence for whatever reason will require the council to consider whether you are able to continue in the post to which you are appointed.
