Job overview

Full Time Permanent Teachers

We have an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic teachers to teach in a secure children’s home based in Northumberland.

Kyloe House has a clear ambition to be an outstanding education provider and we wish to appoint exceptional candidates to the role of teachers in charge of English, Maths, science or ICT to support a National service for 13 young people supported by dedicated and experienced care staff.

We are looking to recruit a number of highly motivated, committed and experienced individuals to join our school. The post holders will play an important role within the school, leading curriculum areas such as English/Maths/Science or ICT supported by an able team of professionals.

This would be an ideal opportunity for a creative individual, with a proven record of securing strong pupil outcomes within English/Maths/Science or ICT.

The successful candidate will need to have the drive to enthuse our young people, to ensure they are able to achieve their full potential within the subject area. You will be required to be a strong leader and have the ability to create an ethos of high aspirations within the subject area.

Kyloe House has newly built science, DT and food technology facilities, which will offer great development and learning for the young people placed at Kyloe.

A willingness to support the ethos of Kyloe is essential. There are many opportunities for professional development through contributing to extra-curricular activities and whole school initiatives. To meet the needs of the service holiday entitlement is spread evenly throughout the academic year.

Closing Date: Noon 18th May 2018

Please apply via www.northeastjobs.org.uk. Ref No. 174786X.
