Job overview

Reporting to the Operations Bursar (Ops Bursar), the PA to the Operations Bursar will be responsible for the efficient daily running of the Operations Department’s Office.  The Foundation’s estates comprise: Dean Close Schools, Dean Close St Johns Schools and five children’s nurseries.  Based at Dean Close School in Cheltenham the role requires independent and collegiate working to ensure the office administration required to support the smooth running of such a diverse estate, is delivered effectively and in a timely well organised fashion.

Experience of Microsoft Office is essential as are strong administrative, organisational and communication skills. The role requires a good knowledge of office administration.  An awareness of Health and Safety legislation is expected.

It is essential to recognise that providing the best possible educational environment in line with the ethos of the Dean Close Foundation is at the heart of this role. A flexible, diplomatic approach when liaising with academic and residential staff is important.
