We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Teacher who is passionate about learning and who will add quality to our excellent team. You should be of Qualified teacher status, you will deliver a specialised and differentiated curriculum for students with the aim of supporting transition in to School.
- Further develop and contribute to the schools 3 C ethos -building character and developing innovation through creative practice and research.
- Facilitate and encourage a learning experiences that provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
- Ensure all baseline assessments are completed for all new students and support young people to transition into a class group. In addition you will deliver intervention sessions as directed by the head teacher.

Hurworth House School is a specialist SEND provision working with children and young people from the age of 5 – 19 years. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a SEND environment which provides a blended academic and therapeutic approach. The school employs a professional and experienced therapy team who work in partnership to provide specialist education for young people with a wide range of complex difficulties and autism. Hurworth is committed to developing character through creative and innovative practice.
