An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of a successful team at one of the country’s top sixth form colleges.

Hereford Sixth Form College has over 2000 full-time 16-19 students and an excellent reputation for its results and extra-curricular provision.  Rated Ofsted outstanding in 2007; the College consistently achieves one of the highest Advanced Level points scores per entry of over 100 SFC’s nationally and has outstanding value added results as measured by both the ALIS and ALPS systems.

The Heart of Mercia Multi-Academy Trust (MAT), formed on 1 April 2019 and delivers post 16 education in Hereford, Stourbridge and Worcester. Hereford Sixth Form College is part of this Trust. The MAT has an annual budget of £28m and serves the needs of 5,500 students across the region. 

We are proud of the support we provide to our students both academically and holistically, and are looking for people with the skills to continue to add to our successful tutoring programme. Ideally, you will have a background in supporting young people. The role requires flexibility, good listening skills, empathy, use of initiative and a sound understanding of safeguarding and keeping children safe in education. You will be committed to a collegiate ethos and a desire to contribute to the College’s continuing success
