We require a number of skilled and highly motivated individuals with the passion and flare to deliver relevant and exciting tutorials which will educate and enrich the experience of our learners. As a personal tutor you will work alongside curriculum teams to break down barriers and ensure that all learners are able to achieve successful outcomes both academically and socially. You will have the skills to deliver exemplary, high quality tutorials and one to one meetings which ensure the achievement and progress of every learner. You will have a sound understanding of the range of issues facing young people and how this affects their capacity to learn.

With a proven track record in delivering strategies which effectively motivate learners with a diverse range of needs, you will be pro-active in monitoring achievement and progression and be skilled in implementing disciplinary sanctions where necessary. You will have a good understanding of pastoral needs and contribute to the college’s ethos of high expectations. You will support learners in developing their life skills, study skills, organisation and approach to learning. You will be qualified to degree level or have equivalent relevant experience. Experience in delivering tutorials and knowledge of Safeguarding themes would also be an advantage.
