An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of the award winning Allied Medical & Science Team (formally Vocational Science). This is a key role in the development and operational management of the pharmacy curriculum within the Allied Medical and Science Team. 

You will ensure that the pharmacy curriculum meets the needs of students, business and the community and that students receive a high quality experience whilst ensuring quality, recruitment, staff and financial targets are met. As a manager leading a programme area you will provide inspirational leadership for staff and students, embedding our values of achievement, inclusion, excellence, focus and integrity.

You will also have a key role in liaising with employers, professional bodies, external verifiers and other stakeholders and will be required to contribute to and write relevant reports for both internal and external purposes.

Excellent communication, team working and IT skills are essential and applicants should hold an Assessor qualification and be working towards or willing to undertake a recognised teaching and the Internal Verifier qualifications if they do not already possess them.

The successful applicant will be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and have or be willing to work towards a recognised teaching qualification.
