An exciting opportunity has arisen for a phase leader to join our school. This role provides the opportunity to make a real difference and ensure that pupil outcomes and aspirations are maximised.  

 This position would be ideally suited to an experienced leader or an excellent practitioner looking for a new challenge. The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and skilled teacher who can evidence their previous impact on pupil outcomes and demonstrate a commitment to raising standards for pupils. We are looking for a creative, adaptable and reflective practitioner with the ability to enthuse, lead and enhance the daily practices of other staff across the phase.

The Rydal Academy is a large and vibrant primary school for pupils aged 3 to 11. The school provides nursery education for children from their third birthday and is structured in three classes per year group for Reception through to Year 6.

The school is housed in an expansive building with a bright, purposeful learning environment. The school benefits from extensive grounds, including a multi-use games area, nature garden, allotment, four Early Years outdoor learning areas, field, outdoor classroom and two playgrounds.

The school provides an extensive and free extra-curricular and extended curriculum offer as well as free wraparound childcare from 7:30am until 6pm.
