Located in Auckland, New Zealand - Avondale College is looking for a dedicated Physics teacher to commence a full-time permanent position at the start of the NZ school year in late January 2020. The development of a scholarship programme with links to tertiary study, in tandem with delivery of the Cambridge International Curriculum, is generating high levels of academic achievement resulting in increasing numbers of our students attending degree level study.
We are looking for a great teacher who can spark enthusiasm for their subject and produce excellent results from their students. As well as managing a full classroom teaching programme the successful applicant will be expected to be involved in our exciting co-curricular programme. Employment conditions will be as detailed in the NZ secondary teachers contract and remuneration will be based on qualifications and experience. In addition, a one-off NZ Ministry of Education International relocation grant of NZ$5000 currently exists (T&Cs apply).
