This is a fantastic opportunity for a well-qualified Teacher of Physics to work in a rapidly expanding 11-18 independent school in the heart of London.
KPS operates from two sites either side of Kensington Gardens:
• The Lower School (years 7-11) is in Bayswater;
• The Sixth Form is located opposite the Natural History Museum.
We are seeking to recruit a Teacher of Physics who will be based predominantly in the Lower School. However, co-curricular involvement across the 11-18 school will be encouraged, and some sixth-form teaching may be available for the right candidate.
This post is suitable either for an experienced Physics Teacher, or for an ambitious person who is relatively new to teaching and who can see potential in making their mark in this exciting school.
Whilst KPS has attracted a team of staff with a wealth of experience both teaching in and managing some of the oldest and most traditional schools in the country, its outlook on education is modern and dynamic. The staff are all excited by the chance to create something new and to build on all the best elements of the schools they come from.
With our wonderful central London location and a wealth of sports and cultural centres as our neighbours, we are able to integrate world-class co-curricular experiences into the timetable.
Salary is commensurate with the post and the experience of the successful candidate.
KPS is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful applicant will be subject to a number of safer recruitment checks including an enhanced disclosure through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
