We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of physics to join a highly successful department. Applications are welcome from experienced and newly qualified teachers able to teach science from Year 7 to Year 11 and A level physics. Excellent support is available from a very experienced team.
The department is an outward facing department which offers many enrichment opportunities. It has a well-established and very successful STEM programme – students benefit from visits to universities and from visits to the school enabling them to explore a range of careers in the Sciences. It supports visits from other education systems both nationally and internationally. It is heavily involved in Initial Teacher Education – supporting all routes including School Direct and Researchers in Schools.
Our physics specialists currently enjoy opportunities through our Teaching School to combine teaching with outreach work.
