A vacancy has arisen for a Physics Technician to offer technical support to our Science staff, commencing November 2017.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Technician to join our team and support three full-time Physics teachers. The candidate will join our experienced Science technicians to oversee practical Physics. The successful candidate will ideally have a suitable Physics qualification and practical experience of working in a laboratory, ideally in an educational environment.
We are a friendly and well-qualified department with spacious facilities, including our own Planetarium and Observatory.

The post is Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week with timings negotiable. The role is required term time and the successful candidate must be flexible to work up to two weeks during the school holidays.

The Royal Masonic School for Girls is an independent school located on a 316-acre site in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. Providing places to both boarding and day pupils, the school is an all-through institution educating pupils aged 2-18.
Founded in 1789, the school was originally intended for use by the children of Freemasons. It is now non-denominational and has no restrictions on attendance. As an academically selective institution, the school require potential applicants to undergo formal or informal assessment before a place is offered.
