Job overview

We are looking to appoint an outstanding piano music tutor to develop our provision of beginner, intermediate, and advanced piano playing across the curriculum.

In addition to assisting with the department’s growing ensembles, the successful candidate will be dynamic, inspirational and uncompromising in their commitment to providing outstanding individual and small group lessons.

Working as part of a team on large-scale projects, proficiency in adapting and arranging music for students ranging in experience is expected.

This post would suit either a postgraduate student or a more experienced practitioner. The post is part-time and term time only.

Hours: 2 days a week (can be split over 3 or 4 days a week), term-time only

In 2017, Central Foundation achieved a positive Progress 8 score of 0.77 at GCSE, placing it well above the national average. The Music Department is highly successful and the music provision for our students is one of the School’s strengths.
