Pinc College is seeking to appoint an Art Teacher for our Hanley, Stoke Campus- attached to The Potteries Museum and Gallery

TERM TIME ONLY- 9 am to 3 pm , 4 or 5 days per week

To commence for the Sept 23 academic year or during Summer Term if possible

There is also the opportunity, for the right candidate, to take up a wider role leading in the Art Curriculum. This can be discussed during the recruitment process.

The role

As Art teacher you will be responsible for the engagement and progress of and up to 20 students accessing Art, Design and Craft at our Specialist Creative College. Our time table ensures that numbers of around 8 students maximum are usually in a teaching group.

Individual planning to meet our students needs is essential.

You will teach and lead on connecting locally for a rich and diverse learning experience. Experience of GCSE, AS and Alevel, coupled with a solid background in SEND would be beneficial for this stand out opportunity.

QTS or FE qual is essential.

You will be part of a team who educate, safeguard and support neurodiverse students, (16 – 25 year olds).

This will require sustaining of strong partnerships with professional Local Authority teams and the Cultural sector.

The Specialist College for creative education has an alternative approach to education and supports additional/high needs routes to wellbeing, engagement and employment. Mindfulness to be respectful, responsible, safe and kind, are at the core of the college’s values.
