Within this role you will be responsible for finding appropriate work experience for students across college programs, monitoring and supporting students in placements and ensuring that College standards are met.

You will establish and maintain excellent working relationships with employers and outside agencies to facilitate work placements for students, handling queries as they arise.

You will give effective guidance and advice to students regarding work placements, external organisations and lecturers. You will also create and maintain a database to track learner’s progress and carry out risk assessments at employer sites, ensuring suitability for work placement students and completing paperwork as required.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of working in a customer focused environment, in addition to being flexible, enthusiastic and methodical in your approach to working practices. You will also be highly organised with the ability to work under pressure and have demonstrable IT and strong administrative skills.
