Job overview

Dulwich Prep London is an exciting place to work - with over 800 pupils, it is the largest boys’ prep school in the UK and is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of the world’s most cosmopolitan city. The school’s strength is its community: our staff, who are professional, passionate, and brilliantly collegiate (CPD is massively important); our pupils, who are inquisitive, challenging learners with a spring in their step, and our parents, who are hugely supportive, appreciative, and ambitious.

Our Early Years Play Leaders are responsible for creating a fun, active, stimulating and safe environment for the children, enhancing and leading their play through well planned and organised activities. This role reports to our Head of Early Years.

We would welcome applicants who have experience of caring for and inspiring children, who possess an excellent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures. A full and relevant NVQ Level 2 is essential. A full and relevant level 3 qualification is desirable.

Dulwich Prep London offers excellent facilities and resources for its staff and pupils, as well as supportive and energised colleagues, a commitment to professional development and staff well-being opportunities and small class sizes.

The hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday, for 35 weeks each year, including all School term time weeks.

Please read the Job Description and Application & Recruitment Process Explanatory Note below. Completed application forms, along with a covering letter explaining your suitability for this role, should be sent to Tamsin Hutson, HR Manager, at recruitment@dulwichpreplondon.org

We reserve the right to appoint at any time during the recruitment process.
