The Pointer School, a leading independent co-educational school for boys and girls aged 3-11, maintains a vibrant Christian Ethos. The school seeks a Playground Supervisor to work within its busy prep school playground, working with children aged 6 to 11. The role involves supervising pupils during playtime and lunch breaks in the school playground, as well as organising a program of sports and games and overseeing child welfare, discipline and first aid in the playground.

The successful applicant will be confident, creative and have proven strong behaviour management. Previous sports coaching experience is desirable but not required. The position involves working outside in most weather conditions.

Generous leave arrangements include all school and bank holidays. A subsidised two-course organic lunch is provided daily. Working hours are Monday to Friday 10:00am to 2:00pm.

Shortlisting begins on 26th November and applications will close once the position has been filled. The post will commence as soon as possible. Salary starts at £10 per hour and remuneration will reflect experience and ability.
