Due to a number of maternity leaves in our Wrap Around Care provision, we are seeking to appoint a talented Playworkers to join our team on a fixed-term basis.

Hours of work:   15 hours per week; Monday to Friday from 2:30pm – 5:30pm   with the possibility of extra hours during school holidays.  


Salary:   Hourly rate will be £7.67 - £10.72 per hour (£14,756 - £20,623 FTE) subject to confirmation of qualification and experience  

George Heriot’s pays the Living Wage as set by the Living Wage Foundation.  Therefore any employee receiving a basic pay rate of less than £8.45 per hour will receive a discretionary, non-contractual enhancement to the Living Wage.   


Additional Information:   As this is a term time only contract, you will not be required to attend work during school holiday periods. However, your total salary for the duration of your contract will be calculated based on your actual working hours and paid in equal monthly installments across the duration of the contract.
