Pool Assistant

Permanent, Full Time 32.5 hours, term time only - £20,704 + £1,140 SEN allowance pa

Plus a £100 welcome payment on successful completion of your 6 months’ probation

Monday and Tuesday 08.45 to 16.30, Wednesday Thursday and Friday 08.45 to 15.15

In this role you will supervise the security and safety of pool users and carry out rescues as required. You will also undertake basic pool maintenance and cleaning duties (training provided).

The pool at Manor Green is used for hydrotherapy, swimming and fun activities for students. You will work alongside the Swimming Teacher.

You must have a National Rescue Award.

You must:

  • Meet the person specification
  • Be able to meet key accountabilities set out in Job Description
  • Have experience and/or a keen interest in the subject matter
  • Be able to use ICT effectively
  • Have good organisational skills
  • Have good communication skills
  • Good levels of literacy and numeracy
