Job overview

We are creating a new Porter team to undertake a wide range of general porter duties, security, cleaning duties across all school sites, setting up school events, ensuring a clean, safe, and secure environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

You will be the first point of contact out of hours, responsible for security of the site, outside of School hours and act as the first responder to fire alarms supporting the boarding house teams.

You will need to proactive, an excellent communicator and a team player, with great customer service skills, with a positive and professional attitude.

This is physically demanding role whereby you will be required to lifting tables, chairs and other equipment associated with banqueting, events and undertake domestic duties including carpet cleaning and light domestic repairs.

You will be on a seven-week rota, working a pattern of early, late and night shifts with an average of 34 hours per week, with four weekends off in the seven-week period.
