POST 16 STUDY SUPERVISOR – ONE YEAR FIXED TERM (MATERNITY COVER)

GRADE 5, SCP 9-17 - DEPENDENT ON QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE. 

ACTUAL SALARY £18,181.70 to £21,302.55 p.a.

TERM TIME + 3 Weeks (WITH SOME EVENINGS BY ARRANGEMENT) – 37 hours per week


Required from 1st September 2020 or sooner subject to experience and checks, a dedicated and student focused individual for the position of Post 16 Study Supervisor.

This position has a particular emphasis on Post 16 students’ attainment and progress. The successful candidate will supervise students, ensuring they are on task during extra study periods and will need to positively intervene as necessary to raise standards and improve progress, reporting on a daily basis to the Head of Sixth Form. They will also be expected to help out with sixth form administration and detentions. 

The successful candidate should have good levels of computer skills and be comfortable with use of Excel and have some familiarity with SIMs software. Similarly, they will take an integral part in the UCAS process of university application.
