Smart Teachers is recruiting for a PPA teacher who is strong and confident in delivering phonics to Year 2 pupils. Although the focus of the role is to deliver phonics you will be comfortable working with reception pupils up to Year 4 pupils. The ideal candidate will also teach physical education (PE) to all year groups in addition to teaching literacy and numeracy. This full-time PPA post is due to start in January 2017 until July 2017.

In order to be considered for this PPA teaching role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a Bachelor of Education / PGCE / or equivalent teaching degree
  • Experience teaching within a classroom setting
  • Must be able to commit to working full time
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks
