Bradfield College are seeking to appoint a Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) & Maintenance Operative to play a key role working within the Estates Department. 

The Maintenance Team are expected to work flexibly, covering for other members of the team in their absence and undertaking reasonable duties as directed. Your responsibilities will principally include undertaking PPM activities, inspections of estates assets, data collection activities and supporting other Maintenance Department teams when needed.

At all times, you will carry out the duties and responsibilities of the post whilst complying with the College’s Health and Safety procedures.

To be considered for this role, you will need the following qualifications and experience:

  • General understanding and/or experience of undertaking PPM and or other general maintenance activities
  • A good understanding of current Health and Safety legislation
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical systems (M&E)
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
  • Previous experience or knowledge of asset information surveys or data gathering

Experience of working within the Maintenance and/or Education sector is advantageous.
