The Head Teacher of the Pre-Prep School, Hilary Nawrocka, invites applications for the part-time post of Nursery Assistant, which becomes available from September 2019. This post will have an interest in supporting and promoting Forest School.
We are seeking to appoint someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic and a good communicator to encourage, support, guide and give practical help to the process of learning within our thriving Pre-Prep School. We are particularly seeking someone who can work alongside our Forest School Leader to support the Forest School provision in Pre-Prep.
A minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Early Years Childcare and GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths at grade C or above are also required.
We are looking for someone with a warm and welcoming smile, able to inspire the children and make every child feel special. The ability to join in with the children, no matter how silly the task, and have fun and laughter in the workplace is also important.
The hours for this role are 3 days per week, starting at 7.00am ideally although hours can be flexible, for 52 weeks per year. Some flexibility is required to cover holiday and study leave within the Nursery. Attendance is required at three INSET days throughout the year, prior to the beginning of each term. The hourly rate is £9.46 (from 1st September 2019).
