Job overview

PRE-PREP Teacher – Full Time

Holme Grange is a successful, traditional Independent   School with waiting lists in most year groups. We are at an exciting stage of our development, with our school having recently extended our excellent provision up to GCSE at Year 11. We admitted our first Y9 pupils in September 2015. We have innovative, forward thinking staff with an understanding of how children learn. We are looking for someone to join us in the Pre Prep department – an important area of the School where our pupils learning   journey begins.

We are seeking to employ a dynamic and enthusiastic Pre Prep teacher for January 2018 but with an option to start immediate. Applications from NQTs welcome. Initially this is a fixed term contract until December  2018 with the possibility of a permanent appointment for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will be an exemplary practitioner with excellent interpersonal and team-working skills and a strong interest in pastoral care. Our teachers set high standards of themselves and their pupils. If you are dedicated and energetic we offer a delightful working environment which is well resourced. Professional development opportunities are available and encouraged.

A willingness to play a full part in the   extra-curricular and pastoral life of our happy and vibrant school is   essential. Holme Grange has its own salary scale. The position would appeal   equally to a teacher beginning his or her career, or to an experienced   professional seeking a new challenge.

Holme Grange is committed to safeguarding and promoting   the welfare of children. Applicants for all jobs will undergo appropriate   child-protection screening including checks with past employers and the   Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to enhanced level. A Prohibition   Check is also carried out. Holme Grange School is an equal opportunities   employer.
