As part of a busy team the Secretary will require a flexible approach and the ability to act on their own initiative to organise and manage the Pre-School Office administration. As the key point of contact on all administrative matters, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The ability to represent the school to high standards, to both internal and external individuals and organisations, and to build relationships effectively is also essential.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who is able to work under pressure and prioritise as necessary, inspiring the trust and confidence of the Head. Open to new ideas and practices and possessing an adaptable, positive “can do” attitude. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility and enthusiasm and enjoy working within a team with all members of the school community. Importantly also displaying an affinity and understanding of the ethos of the school.

The Royal Masonic School for Girls is an independent school located on a 316-acre site in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. Providing places to both boarding and day pupils, the school is an all-through institution educating pupils aged 2-18.
Founded in 1789, the school was originally intended for use by the children of Freemasons. It is now non-denominational and has no restrictions on attendance. As an academically selective institution, the school require potential applicants to undergo formal or informal assessment before a place is offered.
