Pre-School Secretary

Required for September 2017 or earlier

As part of a busy team the Secretary will require a flexible approach and the ability to act on their own initiative to organise and manage the Pre-School Office administration. As the key point of contact on all administrative matters, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. The ability to represent the school to high standards, to both internal and external individuals and organisations, and to build relationships effectively is also essential.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who is able to work under pressure and prioritise as necessary, inspiring the trust and confidence of the Head. Open to new ideas and practices and possessing an adaptable, positive “can do” attitude. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility and enthusiasm and enjoy working within a team with all members of the school community. Importantly also displaying an affinity and understanding of the ethos of the school.

RMS is an independent, day and boarding school with a supportive and nurturing ethos. The School provides an exceptionally favourable working environment, with keen students and stunning surroundings.

Potential candidates are strongly encouraged to visit the school website www.royalmasonic.herts.sch.uk for more information about our thriving school, with its excellent value added results and inclusive community spirit that encourages both girls and staff to work to their potential and beyond.

We welcome a letter of application and a completed application form which can be downloaded from our website. Completed applications only and any enquiries should be addressed to Miss Tyler Lawton on 01923 725762 or hrrecruitment@royalmasonic.herts.sch.uk.

Please note CVs are not accepted.

Closing date for applications: Friday 28th July 2017 at 9.00am
