Surrey Pay PS4 £20722 - £22716 for 36 hours per week, 52 weeks a year

As a result of the pattern of this working we will consider job shares and part time applications to complete the hours across the week

We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and committed individuals with flexibility and responsibility to join our hardworking team based at Glebelands School which covers our indoor sports facilities and our new 3G pitch which is under construction.

The ideal candidate will be IT literate and have excellent organisational and administrative skills. A car owner is preferable, due to the school’s location.

Your main responsibilities will consist of dealing with customer enquiries as appropriate, general reception duties, completing bookings and answering enquiries, beginning enquiries for external sports lettings and membership sales, preparing activities in the sports hall/outside courts and 3G pitch, locking and alarming these facilities at the end of the day and any other duties as required. You will also be part of the team developing our offer to the local community as our 3G pitch construction becomes a reality. It is an exciting time to join our school.

There are 36 hours to be covered each week and the role is from 6pm to 10pm each day and from 9am to 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays, 52 weeks a year. As a result of the pattern of this working we will consider job shares and part time applications to complete the hours across the week.  This will be a role that is subject to lone working.

You will have access to a generous annual leave allowance (pro-rata for part time) and to Schools Advisory Service package which gives quick, free access to health and wellbeing services.

Closing date for applications is 31/01/2023

Please note we reserve the right to interview early applications prior to the closing date.

A relatively high proportion of teaching is outstanding. Students’ behaviour around the school and in most classes is good. They respond well to the encouragement of staff and know the importance of the school’s motto ‘respect and achieve’. The school’s senior leaders and governors are totally committed to improving the school. Their passion and determination have brought about significant improvements in achievement, attendance and behaviour. The great majority of students have positive attitudes to learning and enjoy their lessons.”
