Linton Mead Primary school are looking for a well organised, highly motivated, proactive and caring person to take on the role of Premises Manager and to oversee all aspects of the premises, health and safety, compliance and risk management including day to day line management of the premises team.

You should have a sense of pride and eagerness to achieve high quality work and be enthusiastic in creating and maintaining a safe and happy environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

We are looking for someone that has previous Premises/Facilities Management experience. You should be able to motivate staff, plan effectively for projects and have an urgent ethos around Health & Safety. You should have extremely high standards and look for ways to resolve and tackle tasks in a cost effect imaginative manner.

The successful applicant will need to have a proven range of site maintenance skills including general repairs, cleaning, painting, decorating and general DIY. A PAT testing qualification is desirable. You need to have strong IT skills and be able to navigate you way around word and excel in order to provide high quality reports and spreadsheets. Be able to use your own initiative as well as being part of a supportive team is essential as is commitment, drive and passion.

As Premises Manager, you will need to ensure that the environment, both internally and externally, is maintained to a high standard that guarantees the site is fit for purpose, and safe, therefore enabling children to learn to their full potential.

This is not your everyday Premises/Facilities Manager role and involves a high degree of planning, monitoring and accountability using various IT systems.

Having your own transport is essential to this role.
