Permanent Contract (54-56 hours per week)
Salary £30,930 per annum
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and enthusiastic Premises Manager with proven skills and abilities of working in a busy environment. This is a permanent post and the successful candidate will have significant practical skills, being able to deploy the premises staff to meet the priority needs of the school. The role is both operational as well as managerial, therefore you will be required to have a ‘hands on’ approach as you will spend a significant proportion of your time involved in practical site activities.
The ideal candidate will have:
- good literacy, numeracy and communication skills;
- recent, relevant premises skills within a school setting;
- significant skills and abilities in a trade;
- good IT skills;
- good knowledge of Health & Safety, Manual Handling, COSHE and Legionella regulations;
- good interpersonal skills in dealing with both children and adults;
- enthusiasm, dedication and the ability to be an integral part of the vibrant school environment;
- the ability to organise their work and use their own initiative;
- a willingness to participate in relevant training;
- a commitment to the school's equal opportunity policy;
- a commitment to the school's safeguarding policy and procedures

We are a very distinctive community with a rich heritage and tradition of providing a Jesuit education for boys in north London for over 100 years yet focused on equipping our students for the demands of the twenty first century. We are incredibly fortunate, especially in such difficult times of funding for schools, to have the financial support of our Trustees, the Society of Jesus. We are in the middle of a £7 million building project to transform our learning environment. Our science laboratories have all been refurbished and currently, we are developing our external areas to ensure our site is attractive and secure.
We are a happy, caring, welcoming, Catholic community. Our social, economic and cultural diversity is a real strength of the College.
