An exciting opportunity exists to join one of the leading independent schools in West Yorkshire.


Huddersfield Grammar School seeks a polite, professional Site Manager to lead our established maintenance team.  The primary purpose of the role is to perform the duties of Premises Manager providing support for the school in relation to premises management, maintenance issues, groundworks, events set up and health and safety concerns. You will manage the established maintenance team and act as the deputy Health and Safety Co-ordinator, organising and managing the annual statutory contracts and associated paperwork. The successful candidate will demonstrate good IT literacy, the ability to effectively lead a team, a calm, professional and organised persona who is courteous to pupils, colleagues and parents at all times. Previous experience in site management including plumbing, carpentry and electrical tasks together with previous experience of management of Health and Safety in the workplace are requirements for this role.
