Part of the wider New Bridge Multi Academy Trust (MAT), New Bridge School is a generic special needs school for pupils and students between the ages of 11 and 19 across four sites within Oldham.
The school has an Outstanding rated provision which caters for over 600 pupils with a wide range of SEND, from moderate learning difficulties to profound and multiple learning difficulties, including severe and complex learning difficulties. The school also caters for pupils with physical disabilities, multisensory impairments, visual impairments, hearing impairments and specific conditions including autism spectrum condition. All pupils have an EHC plan.
The Trustees are now looking to appoint an experienced Premises Manager to manage the busy site teams across all New Bridge School sites and be responsible for all aspects of site management. Previous experience in premises management is essential.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Leading a comprehensive site services team
- Knowledge and experience of estate strategy planning
- Managing Health and Safety at Work
- Ensuring estates documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored and audit ready for compliance and assurance, meeting all regulations under the health and safety at work act.
- Delivering onsite training of new site staff at school level
- Previous appropriate experience of managing buildings, grounds and related facilities
- Experience of working with a wide range of partners both internal and external
- A hard working, organised and proactive approach to their personal and professional development
Although based initially at our various New Bridge School sites all staff are employed by the MAT and are expected to work at any site within the New Bridge Group

Based: Initially at New Bridge School, Roman Road, Hollinwood, New Bridge Learning Centre, Pathways and College.
