35 hours a week - Monday to Friday 06:45 hours – 14:15 hours, 52 weeks a year  

Grade /Range: JE5, Spine Point 16 – 20 

Salary:  £35,292 - £37,437 per annum

We are looking for a Premises Manager to manage our facilities ensuring we provide the best environment for our pupils to grow and develop and a safe environment for staff and all stakeholders. A desire to create a warm and safe environment with the initiative and abilities to make our school as welcoming as possible. You will need good knowledge and the commitment to achieve a high standard of Health and Safety working with the Trust Estates Team in the Trust.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well organised and hardworking Premises Manager who will play a critical role in the Business Team, supporting Teaching and learning.

This role will involve all aspects of premises communication which will include dealing with contractors and suppliers and preparing premises purchase orders and responding to premises requests from staff and students during the day and during school closure. Good computer skills are essential. 

You will work as a member of the Business team of four headed by the Business Manager but will interface with the Headteacher and SLT and all other staff members and students. Working with both school and trust teams, you will need excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage well in a pro-active and reactive way. You will interact with internal and external stakeholders and assist in preparing bids for funding for premises in the school. The ability to work hard and flexibly in a dynamic and lively environment are essential.


Galleywall opened in September 2016 and grew year-on-year, now serving a population of almost 400. We achieved an Outstanding result from OfSTED in January 2025. Galleywall is a jewel at the heart of a growing family of outstanding schools, sponsored by the prestigious City of London. Through this, we are able to work in partnership with ‘Guildhall School of Music and Drama’ and other prominent institutions within the City. Our rich and broad curriculum stimulates creativity and sparks children's imagination.

Galleywall Primary was established in 2016, with its building dating back to 1876 and serving the community with distinction over the years.
