Linden Lodge School is seeking to appoint a multi-skilled Premises Manager with extensive DIY experience and experience of undertaking responsibility for the care and maintenance of premises. Linden Lodge is a day and weekly residential special school for visually impaired children and young adults (2–19 yrs) many of whom are multi disabled with complex needs. At our recent Ofsted (February 2017), our school was judged to be a good school with an outstanding Early Years provision.

“Pupils behaviour is excellent. They are polite and friendly to each other and to adults, and have very good attitudes towards learning” (Ofsted February 2017).

We are seeking a Premises Manager to be responsible for, leading on the efficient use and maintenance of the school premises and maintaining adequate security measures and procedures to ensure effective maintenance and repairs are carried out throughout the premises helping to ensure the effective letting of school facilities. 

“The provision for pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is excellent”.  (Ofsted February 2017)

We are looking for a multi-skilled Premises Manager who:

  • Has experience of leading a small premises team 
  • as extensive DIY skills 
  • Is highly organised and able to plan and complete works
  • Can work effectively with good communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Embraces change and innovation positively
