Premises Manager

Waterfield Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Premises Manager to join our team. The Premises Manager is responsible to the Principal for the general safety, maintenance and upkeep of the school premises and grounds, and for providing a safe, secure, clean, and warm environment for all children, staff and visitors.

What does the role involve?

The purpose of this role is to ensure that the learning environment within the school is maintained to a high standard, including security of the school buildings and site; Health & Safety; upkeep and maintenance of school buildings and grounds; and building developments and projects.

Who are we looking for?

Your customer service skills, ability to multi-task, prioritise and work within a small team in a busy environment are essential. We are looking for a dedicated individual who will be a proactive member of the school community. Flexibility and commitment are essential characteristics of the role, in addition to demonstrating common sense and initiative at all times.

Waterfield Primary is a caring and diverse two-form entry school of approximately 300 pupils, set on a spacious and attractive site. We have a talented and highly committed team of staff, with a strong combination of experienced and newer colleagues. The development of staff is a key feature of our work and we collaborate closely with other local schools and schools across our Trust.

The Senior Leadership Team is an experienced and well-established group, which oversees key strategic areas of work in the school including monitoring pupil progress and the quality of teaching. The Principal works with a talented and ambitious team, with excellent support from the Trust’s Head of Education and CEO.
