Prep Admissions: Tours and Visits Lead

Cheltenham Prep’s Admissions Team seeks to appoint a Tours and Visits Lead.

• Hours of work will be 08:00-16:30 with one hour for lunch, 37.5 hours per week for 34 weeks of the year (term time plus one week)
• Salary based on College Grade E and pro-rated for part year working (from £21,004.68 based on a full-time equivalent of £28,665)

This is a crucial role in the Admissions Team and the Tours and Visits Lead is often the first person to meet prospective families and pupils and therefore the first impression they set will have a huge impact on the decision-making process for the family.

The Tours and Visits Lead will report directly to the Assistant Head Admissions for overall guidance, performance evaluations and strategic direction. However, on a day-to-day basis, the individual will be overseen by the Admissions Lead who will provide immediate support, feedback and direction for daily tasks and operations.

It is essential that applicants have strong interpersonal skills including the ability to create a warm and positive customer engagement experience for prospective pupils and their parents. As the first voice on the end of the phone, or first face that they meet, the ability to make a strong first impression is a vital part of the role.
