Royal Russell is an HMC/IAPS co-educational school with over 1000 pupils between the ages of 3 and 18, situated on a beautiful green campus of 110 acres in the Shirley Hills near Croydon. We have over 150 boarding students in the Senior School, and are proud of our day and boarding facilities that rank amongst the best in the South of England.  Our pupils, parents and staff experience a warm and friendly environment with strong pastoral care for every pupil alongside a comprehensive co-curricular and enrichment programme. Our vision is to provide an outstanding co-educational experience for children as the family school of choice. We learn and achieve together. You will join a supportive close-knit team team of staff offering outstanding wraparound care to our Upper Junior pupils which is an integral part of our after-school provision. You will become a familiar face to all of our pupils and parents and be at the heart of the amazing experience that we provide to our pupils after-school. The working hours will be from 3pm-6pm, Monday to Friday, term time only; therefore this is reflected in the pro rata salary. Candidates interested in working part of the week may also be considered subject to the School being able to cover every day.

Royal Russell offers excellent benefits including a competitive salary on our own salary scale with scope for progression, working in our beautiful green parkland estate with easy access to transport links (Coombe Lane tram stop served by the New Addington tram is opposite the School entrance), and being part of the vibrant community of the historic Royal Russell School.
