Job overview
Part time: 16.00 – 18.00 Monday to Friday • Term time only (34 weeks per year)
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic prep (homework) supervisor to work from 16.00 – 18.00 each day during term time. This role is working primarily with children from years three to six but a willingness to work with children across the primary school age range is required.
The post holder must also be available to work on the five INSET days per year if required. There may on occasion be some opportunities for overtime.
Whilst gently selective and keenly focussed on intellectual rigour, St Swithun’s Prep offers a genuine all-round education and we place enormous importance on creative and performing arts. We offer an inclusive, yet appropriately competitive sports programme; and we encourage children to have fun, take risks and get stuck in to all that we have on offer.
Closing date for applications: Monday 7 February 2022
Further details of the post are available on the school website’s vacancy page, by emailing the recruitment team via recruitment@stswithuns.com, or by calling 01962 835798 and asking to speak to a member of the HR team.
St Swithun’s is a registered charity providing education for boys and girls and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All staff are expected to share this commitment and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure & Barring Service.
