We are looking to appoint our first Prep School Assistant Head: Innovation.

The Assistant Head (Innovation) will work closely with members of SLT and Extended Leadership Team to lead and manage the day-to-day curriculum matters of the Prep School of the College. S/he should be an adaptable and innovative leader, a good motivator, communicator and administrator, and should be capable of managing key aspects of an expanding and high-profile British- international school. S/he should be able to provide professional leadership and guidance of academic matters to enable the effective development of the Prep School of the College (Years 3 to 6), its staff and pupils.
To develop, plan, oversee and help teach a new and exciting STEM/STEAM curriculum, made up of a broad range of Design & Technology aspects. Initially the role will require working with the Senior Leadership Team to design and create the department, create an exciting and innovative scheme of work and help teach it.

Mixed state school Brighton College Abu Dhabi educates around 1,650 pupils aged between three and 18 across its Pre-Prep, Prep and Senior schools. A Sixth Form (Year 12) opened in September 2014. Based on Abu Dhabi Island in a purpose-built campus next to Khalifa Park the has 144 academic staff and more than 100 support staff. It was the first of Brighton College UK’s sister schools in the United Arab Emirates, joined in September 2013 by Brighton College Al Ain.
