Job overview

Prep School – Deputy Head

To commence September 2018

With superb facilities, a beautiful working environment, a reputation for pastoral and extra-curricular excellence and an idiosyncratic heritage, Wycliffe is a special place to work.

This role is that of sole Deputy in a highly successful, happy and vibrant Prep School. The Job Description summarises just how all-encompassing the role is in terms of the management and co-ordination of the overall operation of the school.

This represents a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking a genuine and exciting challenge of his/her drive, leadership, vision and ability to motivate others.  It would be the ideal preparation for someone aiming to move into Prep School Headship within four or five years.

As well as being the Prep School’s sole Deputy, the post-holder is also a member of the eight-person Leadership Team that directs the work of the College as a whole, with (amongst other things) a 2019-2023 Development Plan being devised throughout the course of 2018 and implemented thereafter.

Completed applications to be received by 5pm on Monday 5th February.

First Round interviews will be held on Monday 26th February

Final Round interviews will be held on Monday 12th March.
