Our Community Safety Team is seeking to recruit an exceptional candidate to support schools and other educational providers within Hackney to deliver ‘Prevent’ activity in order to increase young people’s resilience to terrorism.

The Prevent Education Officer is a new and high profile role. We are seeking a dynamic, versatile and resilient individual with prior experience in the education sector. You will be responsible for ensuring that Prevent in local educational provision is delivered in accordance with Hackney’s vision and values and is balanced against compliance with the Equality Act, 2010 and the Human Rights Act.

You should be prepared to work occasional evenings and weekends and travel for business purposes.
