The primary phase is part of Edmonton County School - a 4-18 ‘all through’ school serving the Edmonton community. It consists of Reception – Year 6 and is based at Little Bury Street. It is proud to serve a diverse cultural community. We provide a welcoming atmosphere for our children, parents and families and have a happy and hardworking team.
The suitable candidate will need to have had extensive secretarial and administrative experience, the ability to work on own initiative and commitment to getting the job completed to a high standard. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise with governors, outside organisations/agencies, students, parents and staff at all levels.

Actual Salary Range: £31,403 – £33,411 p.a. inc. (Scale 6)
Hours: 36 hours plus 2.45 hours contractual overtime per week x 40 weeks per annum

Edmonton County School is a popular 2-19 mixed, community, comprehensive school with a long history of providing a high-quality education to the communities of Enfield and Edmonton. The school has a strong commitment to supporting pupils’ academic success. To achieve this, leaders have designed a curriculum that meets the needs of pupils, including pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Teachers have strong subject knowledge. High academic expectations are well matched by the school’s support for pupils’ well-being. Pupils feel safe and cared for. Throughout the school, pupils’ behaviour is typically calm and respectful during lessons. This enables teachers to focus on teaching the curriculum. As a result, in the secondary phase, pupils make strong gains by the end of Year 11, as published outcomes show. Pupils in the primary phase achieve well in primary national assessments in reading and mathematics and in the Year 4 multiplication[1]tables check. Significantly more students proceed successfully on to further study at the end of the sixth form than is nationally the case.
