The opportunity
We are now looking to appoint a Key Stage 1 Teacher to start in January 2022.
As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering outstanding lessons, monitoring and evaluating student achievement and contributing to the accomplishment of Doha College’s vision and mission.
All our classrooms are equipped with interactive smartboards and displays, and all teaching staff and students are furnished with an iPad upon entry.
About you
You should have a passion for the primary years and the ability to apply a range of teaching strategies that motivate and encourage children to want to learn. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver lessons that inspire children to succeed and have a detailed knowledge of the UK National Curriculum, as well as a commitment to the pursuit of excellence in education standards.
We are a British international school and all of our lessons are taught in English. A high standard of written and spoken English is therefore essential. Applicants should be willing to contribute in a positive manner to all aspects of the school vision, including co-curricular activities.
