Job overview

Primary teaching in Korea

Hyundai Foreign School is a very special international community school, situated on a beautiful compound in the coastal city of Ulsan, South Korea, and our students enjoy an innovative and high quality education from the early years through to the end of middle school. The relatively small size of our school means that HFS students experience a highly personalised learning environment, small class sizes and the security of being part of a tight knit community. Our small size also enables the teachers to know all students as individuals and ensure that each child is supported and encouraged to reach their individual potential. We are a learning community committed to excellence in all that we do, to achieve the best possible outcome for all our students.

The appointed individual will be able to make a considerable contribution to the lives of all our students, the continued development of our school and be a valued member of our community.

Experience of the International Primary/Middle Years Curriculum and the Cambridge Primary Programme is strongly preferred.

At least 2 years teaching experience in the Primary age range is required, ideally, but not necessarily, in an international setting. All applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in Education, or a first degree plus a post-graduate qualification in education (i.e. PGCE).

The contract includes a very competitive salary, rent free housing near the school, free utilities, start and end of contract flights, and medical insurance.
